Planning a team offsite near Sydney

  • Match the distance to the length. For a one-day team offsite in Sydney, stay close: Q Station and Cockatoo Island feel far away but are a ferry ride from the CBD. For two nights or more, the Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, Central Coast and Hunter Valley are worth the drive.
  • Sort the transport. A chartered coach keeps everyone together and means nobody's driving home after dinner.
  • Balance the agenda. Plan the hard thinking for the mornings and put the activity in the afternoon. See our team building ideas.
  • Ask about buyouts. Some resorts, including Fairmont, offer exclusive use with minimum room numbers, which gives you the whole property.
